Daniela Prugger

Daniela Prugger has been working as a freelance journalist and correspondent in Kyiv since 2019, among other things she reports for the "Standard", Ö1, WOZ - Die Wochenzeitung, SRF, ff, Rai Südtirol and the NZZ. Prugger grew up in South Tyrol and studied at the University of Vienna (journalism and KoWi), followed by an education at the reportage school in Reutlingen. For her reporting on the war in Ukraine, she was awarded the "Claus Gatterer Prize for Excellent Journalism" in 2023.
