Journalist and presenter Verena Pliger has been the executive director of ff - Das Südtiroler Wochenmagazin (The South Tyrolean Weekly Magazine) since March 2020. She also moderates various major events, congresses, and specialist conferences in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She has extensive experience in the conception and coordination of print magazines; her interviews, portraits, and reports on business, entrepreneurship, politics, and architecture have appeared in various German-language magazines. The Brixen native's face is familiar from the news on SDF, and her voice from the morning press review on Rai Südtirol. The political scientist completed her journalistic training at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich, where she also worked as an editor for various media outlets until 2008.
